September is Healthy Aging Month

One in six Americans aged 65 and older have a vision impairment that cannot be corrected with glasses or contact lenses. The risk of eye disease increases with age, yet many older adults neglect to see an Optometrist for care. Feeser EyeCare wants to bring attention to the signs and symptoms of vision loss - and steps to help seniors take care of their sight.

Preventative Care:

  • Water is very important between 10 and 16 cups a day.

  • Stay Social with friends and family

  • Balance your body and mind, by staying positive, read a good book, do a puzzle, stretch your body, or do some yoga and walk.
